Download a compact, frozen monthly Canadian teaching dataset for learning R and applied statistics. The file contains the Canada all-items Consumer Price Index, year-over-year inflation, the Bank of Canada's target overnight rate, and the monthly average USD/CAD exchange rate from January 2017 through June 2026. The related quick-start guide explains how to open R in Posit Cloud or RStudio Desktop, import the CSV, inspect the variables, calculate descriptive statistics, create charts, estimate a teaching-only regression, export results, and solve common setup errors.
